Representation

Registering as an Autarian at SADC gives Neurocultural individuals the following opportunities:

Political Representation

Have your voice heard in matters affecting the Neurocultural community. We advocate for your interests at all levels of government and community organizations.

Cultural Identity

A place in the world as an Autarian, and the access to the cultural and social bonds, ideas, and love we all possess.

Access to Programs

Access to housing, training and other programmes we develop with leading institutes in the County.

Your Homeland

A cultural identity, and homeland that is yours. This is where you belong.

Register as an Autarian

Join the Simcoelandic Autarian community and gain access to all our services, programs, and cultural opportunities. Registration connects you with a community that understands and supports your Neurocultural identity.

Contact SADC to begin your registration process and become part of our community.

Advocacy

We use Autarian lived experience to advocate for Neurodivergent and Neurocultural interests in the County.

Our Advocacy Work Includes:

  • Direct Support: We send advocates into situations where we are needed—struggling families, Autistic adults, NC/ND families. We will be here for you.
  • Community Representation: Speaking on behalf of the Neurocultural community in government meetings, public forums, and community organizations.
  • Alternative Solutions: In cases where government resources are not available, SADC will design our own alternatives to serve our community.
  • Policy Development: Working with local governments and institutions to create policies that support Neurocultural individuals.
  • Education & Awareness: Raising awareness about Neuroculturalism and the needs of the Autarian community.

Need an advocate? If you or your family need support navigating services, dealing with institutions, or accessing resources, SADC can provide advocacy assistance.

Community Development

We are interested in building Autarian Quarters in parts of our Downtowns and villages throughout Simcoe County.

Planned Locations:

Downtown Areas

  • Barrie
  • Orillia
  • Collingwood
  • Bradford

Villages & Communities

  • Certain parts of the County that we've come to love
  • Areas with strong community connections
  • Locations near services and amenities

Our Vision for Autarian Quarters

We will include not just Autarians in the communities, but existing tenants and everyone in these neighbourhoods we wish to live in and love, play and thrive in. We do not exist as an isolated monolith—the choice to live in these places is an important choice we've made to be inclusive and visible, and gain acceptance.

Property Owners & Landlords

We welcome interest from people not just wanting to live in Autarian Quarters, but also 100% welcome interest from landlords and property managers who wish to sell or donate properties to us.

If you own property in our target areas and are interested in supporting the Neurocultural community, please contact SADC.
